ECONOMY Rental Cars at Los Angeles Airport

Upon your arrival at LAX please remember to collect your entire luggage before proceeding to the rental car company of your choice. There are no car rental company desks located at the airport but you will find telephone communications points located within the arrival halls for anyone who has not yet reserved a vehicle and arranged for a transfer to the location of the rental car company.

All the car rental companies at LAX are located off-site and there are no desks located within the airport.

If you have already arranged for Economy to pick you up please exit the arrival terminal and stand under the large pink sign reading LAX shuttle airline connection and board the G-line/Greenline shuttle bus. Upon boarding please ask the driver to drop you off at the Remote Car Rental depot as it is not a routine stop. A black shuttle from Economy/Allied rent a car will then transport you from there to the rental office. Economy customers are serviced by Allied at this location.

Helpful information when renting an Economy vehicle at Los Angeles Airport

Drivers have to be at least 21 years of age to rent an Economy vehicle. A young driver’s fee will be applied to all drivers under the age of 25.

You may add additional drivers to the rental agreement provided that they meet the same requirements as the main driver and are present at the time of pick up. A daily additional fee is applied for this service, except for spouses who may drive the vehicle free of charge.

Returning your rented Economy vehicle at Los Angeles Airport

When returning the rental car please follow the instructions provided by Economy, and remember to withdraw your belongings from the car before the return.
