Once arrived at Los Angeles International Airport please collect your luggage from the baggage claim area before proceeding to the lower Arrival level curb and wait under the blue sign (not the purple sign) saying LAX Shuttles & Airline Connections.

While you are waiting for the Green Line (G) shuttle please call Airport Van Rentals (AVR) on +1 (310) 670-0510 or +1 (213) 784-8585 to arrange for their shuttle to meet you at the Remote Rental Car depot. The shuttle arrives every 15 minutes. Please make sure to tell the shuttle driver to drop you off at the Remote Rental Car depot as it is not a routine stop. A white shuttle van with decals from AVR and ACE will be waiting for you to take you to location.

Whilst all the major car rental companies at LAX airport provide their services - none of them have rental desks within the airport itself, all are reached by shuttle bus.

Helpful information when renting an Airport Van Rental vehicle at LAX

Drivers between the ages 21-24 are allowed to rent a van with AVR for an additional young driver’s surcharge.

All drivers have to have insurance, including foreign drivers who are required to provide a full coverage insurance valid in the United States. If this is not obtained prior to the time of rental it can be obtained at the time of pick up.

All drivers are also required to provide a valid driver’s license and a valid credit card in the same name.

Returning your rented Airport Van Rental vehicle at Los Angeles Airport

Please consult with AVR at LAX for instructions in regards to the drop off of your rented vehicle.

Always remember to remove your possessions from the van before returning it to AVR.
