ADVANTAGE Rental Cars at Los Angeles Airport

Upon arriving at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), you will find that no car rental companies have desks located within the airport. Instead there are telephone communication points for those who have not reserved their vehicle before arrival and those who have not arranged for a transfer to the chosen rental car company beforehand. The queues can be very long and time consuming so you are recommended to have it all arranged upon arrival. A few companies offer regular shuttle bus services, Advantage is one of them.

Helpful information when renting an Advantage vehicle at LAX

All Advantage renters are required to be at least 21 years old and provide a valid driver’s license issued in the country of residency. If the license is issued and printed in a language other than English or in non-Roman letters it is required to provide an IDP in addition to the original driver’s license. An IDP is an International Driver’s Permit, a 9 language translation of the driver’s license. The driver’s license has to be valid throughout the full rental period.

All additional drivers have to be added to the rental agreement, must meet the same requirements as the main driver as well as be present at the time of pick up. Every additional driver is subject to a daily surcharge.

International drivers also have to provide a valid passport in the same name as the driver’s license.

Returning your rented Advantage vehicle at Los Angeles Airport

Follow the instructions provided by Advantage when returning the rental car to location and remember to withdraw all your personal belongings from the vehicle before returning it.
